Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince 3

tags: , , ,
This is the third official trailer from the upcoming Harry Potter film; Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince — just in time for the big film-going season between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day (too bad the film is not being released now, as originally promised) [1:53].

About GrrlScientist

grrlscientist is the pseudonym of an evolutionary biologist and ornithologist who writes about evolution, ethology, and ecology, especially in birds. After earning a degree in microbiology (thesis focus: virology) and working at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, she earned her PhD in zoology from the University of Washington in Seattle, where she studied the molecular correlates of testosterone and behaviour in white-crowned sparrows. She then worked a Chapman Postdoctoral Fellow at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, where she studied the speciation and distribution of lories and other parrots throughout the South Pacific Islands. A discarded scientist, she returned to her roots: writing. Formerly hosted by The Guardian (UK), she now writes about science for Forbes and for the non-profit think tank, the Evolution Institute and she writes podcasts for BirdNote Radio. An avid lifelong birder and aviculturist, she lives with a flock of songbirds and parrots somewhere in Germany.

  1. Bob O'H says:

Was that the Millennium Bridge being destroyed in there (at about 1.37)? We pre-emptively had it on the Harry Potter London tour.

  2. Heinz P says:

This is going to be the best HP movie yet. Imax, here I come.

  3. Aerik says:

Damn, did that just say JULY?
The first trailer I saw just said “2008”.
    The next said “November”
    Now July. What’s the deal

  4. Heinz P says:

    Aerik at #3
Warner Brothers, in their infinite wisdom, decided that early summer of 2009 would be a better time because of a few movies that are just getting to the theaters now. Little or no competition this summer. The greedy bastards.
