Squeeeeee!! This video shows the cutest kitten in the entire world. No, seriously. If you watch this video and remain unaffected by the cuteness of this kitten, I think you are a prime candidate for psychiatric evaluation [3:01].

About GrrlScientist

grrlscientist is the pseudonym of an evolutionary biologist and ornithologist who writes about evolution, ethology, and ecology, especially in birds. After earning a degree in microbiology (thesis focus: virology) and working at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, she earned her PhD in zoology from the University of Washington in Seattle, where she studied the molecular correlates of testosterone and behaviour in white-crowned sparrows. She then worked a Chapman Postdoctoral Fellow at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, where she studied the speciation and distribution of lories and other parrots throughout the South Pacific Islands. A discarded scientist, she returned to her roots: writing. Formerly hosted by The Guardian (UK), she now writes about science for Forbes and for the non-profit think tank, the Evolution Institute and she writes podcasts for BirdNote Radio. An avid lifelong birder and aviculturist, she lives with a flock of songbirds and parrots somewhere in Germany.

Oh noes! YouTube can’t take the cute overload!

  3. CyberLizard says:

I watched it and all I could think was “mmmmm, dinner”. Does that make me a bad person?

  4. Bob O'H says:

Your dinner is no longer available? Did the cat eat it?

  5. JPS says:

    Its here

  6. Tualha says:

Oh wow, certainly in the running for cutest ever. And you can even hear it purr, toward the end. Wonder if it’s a Scottish Fold?

  7. David Harmon says:

Wonder if it’s a Scottish Fold?
Sure looks like it. The ending reminds me of why I had to give up “teasing” my cat with a laser dot: she figured out there was another, much less evasive, dot — in my hand!
